Instructor-Led Training with a Train-the-Trainer
Instructor-Led Training with a Train-the-Trainer
I identified a need for a new training for 600+ English Learning (EL) students about their EL services, status, and supports based on compliance requirements and stakeholder input. I designed the presentation to include clear objectives and a logical lesson sequence based on stakeholders' input and in consideration of the audience.
However, in order to reach the 600+ students that needed to receive this information, I needed to train staff members to deliver the presentation and support students with completing the training. In order to meet this goal, I developed and delivered a T3 session to staff. Additionally, I created and followed a communication plan to ensure a successful deployment for the training delivery date and provided support with staff on the training date.
This training occurred, successfully, in 100+ rooms simultaneously. I measured success by the number of training materials completed by students, the quality of the completed student training materials, and feedback from staff about the training and delivery.
In addition to the T3, there were two deliverables for this project: a presentation slide deck with facilitator notes and a student course with two assignments on the learning management system (LMS), Canvas.
Canvas Assignments

I created two assignments in a Canvas course that were assigned to all students receiving the training. On the training delivery date, I use LMS assignment tools to monitor assignment completion to ensure implementation. Later, I reviewed the submitted assignments to determine next steps for student training on these topics.
